Titanium Camping Trowel 25g - TA6701G-S Ultralight

Burying waste properly in the backcountry needs a real edge, and a plastic trowel folds the first time it meets root-bound ground. This titanium trowel weighs 25 grams — less than a set of keys — and still digs.

This is the smaller of the two Tiartisan trowels, cut for people who count grams. At 175 x 66 x 37mm and 0.6mm thick it strips out every bit of material that is not doing structural work, which is how it gets to 25g while keeping a blade edge that will actually cut into packed soil. Titanium is what makes that possible: it holds an edge at well under a millimetre, and it will not rust after being buried wet and shoved straight back into a pack.

It comes with an aluminium hanging buckle so it clips to the outside of a pack where you can reach it without unpacking, plus a storage bag. If you want more blade and more leverage for harder ground, the larger TA6701 at 35g is the one to look at instead. This one also doubles as a garden hand trowel or a camp kitchen scoop.
