M.2 NVMe SSD Enclosure, USB 3.2 Gen 2 for 2230 & 2242
Short M.2 drives, the 2230 and 2242 sizes pulled out of a handheld console, a laptop upgrade or a spare parts drawer, usually end up in a box because most enclosures only take the full 2280 length. This one is built for the short ones, which turns a drive you were never going to use again into working external storage.
USB 3.2 Gen 2 runs at up to 10Gbps, fast enough to work directly off the drive rather than copying everything to the desktop first, and quick enough that a large backup finishes while you make a coffee. The body is small, roughly the size of a car key, so it goes on a keyring or in a pocket rather than needing a bag of its own. Assembly is tool-free: the drive clips in and the shell closes.
Works as portable storage for laptops, and as external recording and file storage on phones and tablets that support it, including recent iPhones with USB-C. The drive itself is not included. Available in orange, green or grey.
