Cubic Vacuum Storage Bags, No Pump Duvet Compression

Flat vacuum bags have one flaw: compressed flat, a duvet becomes a wide slab that fits no shelf properly. Cubic bags compress into a box shape instead, which is why they stack on a wardrobe shelf and slide under a bed without a fight.

No pump or vacuum cleaner is needed. Roll the bag from the sealed end and air leaves through a one-way valve that closes behind it, so the compression holds. The gussetted sides are what create the cube: they let the bag hold a squared form when full rather than bulging into an oval, and that is the entire difference between storage that stacks and storage that slumps.

Sizes run from 45x70cm, which suits a jumper stack or spare towels, up to 80x100x38cm for a full winter duvet.
